More about coffees from Brazil & Costa Rica
| Brazil |
Coffee beans in Brazil are grown at altitudes of only 2,000 to 4,000 feet. Brazilian coffee can be nutty, sweet, low-acid, and develop exceptional bittersweet and chocolate roast tastes but usually uncomplicated. Great for Italian style espresso, these coffees can work well unblended but as with most coffee beans, benefit when blended with high grade arabica coffee. |
| Costa Rica |
Costa Rican coffee is consistently smooth and fragrant. Prized for their high notes, bright citrus or berry-like flavours in the acidity, with distinctful nut-to-chocolate roasty flavours. Coffee has been grown in Costa Rica since the late 1700s. Most coffees are grown between 4,000 & 5,500 feet in altitude. High in quality, very well balanced and with a limited supply (15th largest coffee producer in the world), we are fans of these beans. |
